New Tech was founded in December 1987, starting its own activity in March 1988 with a fully subscribed capital of ITL. 60.000.000.

In September 1994 the company capital was raised to ITL. 400.000.000 through subscription from the partners.

New Tech deals with the distribution of medical devices for the diagnostic and the surgery all over the Italian territory, with a particular specialization in the ophthalmic field.

In July 1994 New Tech moved into its new premises located in Vimodrone (Milan). With 540 sq m. on the offices floor and another 500 sq m. on the warehouse and laboratory floor, these large and modern facilities provided the Company the necessary space to pursuit its constant growth.

In April 1999 New Tech S.r.l. was turned into a Joint-Stock company, New Tech S.p.a.

Later on, in July 2002 New Tech raised its own company capital from Lit. 400.000.000 to € 1.000.000,00 fully subscribed.

In a few years activity, New Tech Spa has rapidly become a fundamental reference point on the highly competitive market of ophthalmology in Italy.

This has been achieved thanks to the constant pursuit of a firm belief that has become the very basis of the whole company philosophy: top priority is given to the satisfaction of the client and to the search of a constant improvement of the company product/service and its own internal management.

This implies that New Tech Spa is constantly focusing on finding solutions to satisfy all needs that may occur and providing a complete service to the final user.

This means flexibility, dynamism, and continuity in the daily practice made possible by the high qualification level of the whole staff operating in the company.

Since the ophthalmic field is constantly undergoing rapid changes, New Tech Spa keeps in close contact with the scientific world and with the international partners, in order to be the first to monitor and anticipate the potential market novelties.

Since July 1997 New Tech has been implementing a quality assurance management system, in compliance with the ISO 9002: 1994.

The quality assurance system has been certified by the Notify Body TUV ITALIA Srl, in December 2000, in compliance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 9002:94 and UNI CEI EN 46002.

In February 2003 New Tech obtained the Quality System Certification according to the new standard UNI CEI EN ISO 9001:2000 and UNI CEI EN ISO 13488:2002( TUV Certificate n 501002345/B and /B). In February 2005 the certificate has been reissued with a change in the application field. In January 2006, the Quality System management has been conformed to the requirements of the fundamental regulations UNI EN ISO 13485:2004 (CERTIQUALITY certificate n 10021 and IQNet nIT 41032).
